Lol... Good idea! :)

Here is one:

Jessica Alba + Salma Hayek offered to sleep with a Domain Trader (known as Deez) in exchange for one of his domains that they had their eye on for some time.

Rumour has it that the initial offer was from Jessia Alba alone but the crafty domainer rejected the initial offer and made a counter offer which included Jessica + Salma.

The final terms of the sale have not been confirmed yet...

Lol.. one can only dream :xf.grin:

Their were 4 million ngTLD domains that were regged in the first quarter of 2016, thank you domain investors.

Facebook files UDRP against Apple for use of the word FaceTime.

Facebook has moved to aggressively protect it's use of the word "Face" as related to any online social networking application. Apple, owner of the popular FaceTime app is expected to vigorously defend it's use of the generic word Face.

It will be interesting to see how these two industry mammoths collide in a battle over Face.

:)

BREAKING NEWS

M.Manns sales figures have finally been explained. It was recently leaked that Mann is part of a domain cartel run by a group of seedy registries. Over the past few years they have been using M. Mann along with a few other well-known domainers to hype up domain sales and create as much awareness as possible. These domainers are paid handsomely to lure people wanting to invest money into domain trading. Due to the low barrier of entry, domaining can be accessible to people who would have never been able to invest in other marker places like the stock exchange. Registries continue to make a fortune from these domainers. The lure of turning $10 or $100 into $10 000 is too tempting and when people here about all these crazy publicized sales it gives them reason to believe it is easy. This explains why M. Mann is always so vocal about his sales, often he sells domains for $xxxxx that are worth registration fee. Due to domains being virtual commodities, masking the actual owners and creating fictitious sales is really easy.

Not to mention the Rent A Dad service for anyone needing one for a few hours.

The new company plan a sleek new HQ in Vegas with slot machines dispensing free domain names and rooms with a cutting edge autolockout feature which won't let you in if it doesn't like the look on your face that day.

And the above is a classic example of how rumors start and how fake news becomes marketed as real news. Hence, why I'm against spreading fake news, even as a joke.

DomainGang.com has been doing this for a while now, fake news plus real news = you decide, and judging by their 14 front page advertisers, most of whom are biggies in this business, it seems as if it's widely accepted! If you keep a sense of humor about this, I think there's no harm done. Just do your research!
