Domain.com recently had a site update. Prior to the update you could turn off auto renewal at any point. Now you have to give 90 days notice prior to expiration, to turn off auto renewal pending approval.

I'm having a similar problem with Godaddy. I was told that the only way you could change the number of years the auto renew applies (It is applying 2 yeas on a lot of mine for some reason) is to go into a shopping cart to do it. I did this right before my renewal and changed all mine to 1 year but it ignored it and now they tell me they can't change it and won't refund me the extra $700 it cost me in spite of the fact that a Godaddy "customer service" guy walked me through the whole process in the first place. I also cant stand the fact that you cant see how much the renewal charges will be in you domain portfolio unless you pull them up one at a time. With hundreds of domains that's ridiculous. Seems so unfair. Anyone else having problems with the Godaddy autorenewal process?
