I did look at the extension first and I like it.... What did you see when you looked at the extension ?
It's not .com but it's the next best extensions for a short & catchy "Cattle Dog" or "Dog Run" domain.

If you like them and are going to build sites on them, then they are worth whatever you think they are worth to you.

If you are looking into buying them to sell, take a pass on these. It's gonna be hard to find a buyer for them. It doesn't matter if the extension is fun or catchy, they just have little value right now and more than likely, for a long time.

Like I said, if you are wanting them for yourself and are going to build sites for yourself, then the value is as much as you are willing to pay. If that's the case, you should be able to get them in the low-mid $xx.

Yep, the big question you need to ask yourself is, "How is someone (some business) going to monetize this domain name?"

Though they are meaningful, I can't see those names generating meaningful revenues for anyone too easily.

I understand that new gtld's haven't caught on with the general public yet, but i'm looking at these gtld's as future investments (3 - 7 years ?) with the end users as customer in mind.
I might park them or create a blog or basic informative website on the subjects.

Their is quite a bit of competition in the Dog Run industry (lots of fencing companies are trying to get a piece of the pie). Today, I think this domain should be worth $300 - $500 to a company that sells dog runs online. (spend another $500 on a cheap website and that'll be the best online marketing $$$ they spend this year)

The Cattle Dog industry is also blooming worldwide (Not just in Oz & USA)
I'm just researching how many spinoffs there are on a Cattle Dog url.
If I was a Seller, Breeder, Trainer, Kennel or any other profession/product in the cattle dog industry (where-ever in the World).... I would LOVE to own this domain.

The first thing I saw was an extension that noone except a few domainers have ever heard of or will ever use for a business

I mean even the .COM (Dogrun.com) is not developed and is just sitting there

Its not the next best extension, the next best would be .net, .info .org etc and then the strong cctld (.co.uk, .de, etc etc)

A serious business wouldn't waste their time with a name like this and if they did, they wont be paying a lot... you could flip it to a fellow domainer though
