Hi,
Quick question...when one attempts to list a name for sale on Sedo, how thorough is their verification process?
I ask this, because I sent out a few offers for particular types of names recently, and one of the offers was accepted.
The offer was almost certainly for about 1/100th of the domain's actual value, and no one in their right mind would've accepted it.
When I go to the 'contract', the seller is supposedly someone in Buenos Aires, Argentina.....but the name is owned by an American company (the same company that successfully defended a WIPO claim in 2005 for it)....and there is presently an e-book ad page on the domain in question.
I would love to believe this Argentinian has the name, and I'll get it for an absolute steal....but I'm hesitant to even send payment for it. How long will Sedo be holding it until they return it? Would they EVER return it? Ugh...this just sucks.
Thanks in advance.
