For several domain that I would like to sell I have .com .net .org. Does anyone have an impression re whether having those three "primary" domains make any difference when listing them for sale?

No. It's useful just to put cherry on the top after agreement

Only if you are having negotiations and can use them to close the deal. When yo say "listing them for sale" I assume you ar talking about listing them of a platform like Sedo or Afternic on BIN. If so, no potential buyer will know that you also have those extensions available. There is no option, that I know of, that you can show as a package on them.

Thanks to both of you...I'd sort of figured there was no way to co-list the domains. But the cherry on top aspect during negotiations does make sense.

-----------> Yes!

There was a time when 1800- phone numbers were listed for sales, along with a matching domain. That's cross-selling... And, since you've 3 brands of the same type, why don't you register a TM, if you really think the domain name a potential as a brand? Hire a legal advisor, and get it trademarked for a few hundreds, and sell the package!

I'm also interested in listing packages of domains for sale. On DAN (the only platform I've used so far), I've resolved this by listing only one domain in the package for sale, and indicating the other domains in the description text field for that one package.

I was wondering whether it was possible to automate the grouping of domains in a package rather than relying on buyers and DAN to notice the description, and by coincidence I put this question to DAN's support yesterday:

"I am offering some domains as a package of multiple domains, usually spelling variants of the same name (e.g. with and without hyphens). Is there a way of automating the sale of multiple domains?"

Here was the reply:

"You can add in one of the domain's descriptions that you're selling them as a package and we'll transfer all the mentioned ones in the same transaction to your buyer." In other words, what I've been doing so far–although such a sale hasn't yet happened, so I can't confirm whether it works.

If a company is building a brand on dot com then offering dot net and dot org would be a huge bonus.
