Does Google ban AdSense accounts for no reason?

I see hundreds of forum posts daily across multiple forums that Adsense are banning accounts for no reason, i don't personally want to earn money through adsense if my account is just going to get banned for no reason, has anyone here been banned for no reason? Or do people just say that..

I could spend all day reading their TOS but if they're banning accounts for no reason i don't really see the point.

No they don't, if you were banned they would have had sent you an email with the cause (usually you had done something against their T&C). And if you email their support, they will explain to you very clearly why was you ban.

They're actually very fair, but strict, Adsense can be a bread winner, but always read their T&C first, there are a lot of restrictions. I won't avoid them, they are the No1 advertising company in the world.

I got banned for essentially no reason two years ago. I tried to ask why but always got automated responses that weren't helpful at all. Maybe they've improved their system by now.

They banned me for click fraud but never provided proof, which I think is completely unfair. aswell as that, apparently some guy clicked my ads like 50 times according to the script I had installed.. that wasn't really fair as I wasn't the person clicking them, it was so guy out to get me.

I think they don't ban for no reason. They do have reasons but they just send one predefined email to the banned user so everyone feels like they were banned for no reason.

They're just overprotective, I lost my google adsense because of claimed clickfraud when I never clicked my own ads.

You'll be fine if you stick to the rules and if you ever do get banned, You just need to email them logs and be very careful how you word your emails to them.

i am just banned two days ago from google but iwas not told the reason. and they are really not so helpful.

i think some other companies are better than them.

I got an email from google yesterday with no explanation why I was banned.
I have not clicked on my own ads. The site my content is on is a site for my daughters class, they ad content everyday, there is no adult content, there are no other links, they click very little on the ads because the ads say…learn wordpress and they are teenagers and click to get more information, right now they are learning wordpress…is that not what the system is for? Advertise with adwords and someone interested clicks on your ad for more info. We even signed up with an SMS pay provider from one of the links. (But, I never clicked on any ads and it is my account)
To top it off, my husband was banned the same day with the same letter from google…he has never used his code and was approved 4 days earlier, he has logged in once to adsense.
I have had my account for 2 years. As yet, no response from google.
I have heard of people being banned and thought, oh they must have loaded their site with keywords or clicked on their own ads and got banned, their own fault…now I have to re-think this entirely, I did not behave in a misconduct way and my husband has never even used his account and we are both banned! Makes absolutely no sense….and I have looked in every direction to try work out why?

your husband might be banned because he uses the same computer as you? and has the same IP
so they probably thought you signed up for two accounts yourself,try contacting them and explain your situation.
So far Google has been good to me :p
Even though i don't make alot of money with google, I have never had trouble from them.
A couple of years ago, I signed up for one of those Auto traffic websites, and in a week I got an email from google warning me about it. But thats it, only a warning, I removed my website from that program and never had any trouble.
I never really read their TOS cuz its too long

I don't think they will ban your account for no reason.
but adsense is risky, they don't even tell the reason why your account was banned, which is real cheat.

There are a lot's of complaint about them, banning accounts simply.

I think Google doesn't banned adsense accounts for no reason. you can ask to google team, about reason why your acoount has banned.

I was temporarily banned. I had my CTR shoot up to 150% so I pulled my website and called Google. After I sent in my usage/IP records, everything was taken care of and my account was restored. Unfortunately, I lost everything I had made for that pay period, so I took a hit of about $180 plus the refunded money from the CTR overload.

There are so many complaints against that issue of no reason of being banned.
I haven't tried the Adsense cos i might encounter that.
Perhaps they're just having technical problems on that and Google should fixed that matter so it wont disgrace their name
cos it's very unfair for people.

Google does not ban people for no reason, however there slaves are very strict when it comes to the TOS.

Follow the rules and you'll be fine.

I guess there is always a reason but not always they bother to tell us. I think most of them get banned for a reason like invalid clicks, or those traffic types which are not allowed.

Also they ban you when advertisers get useless clicks. Like lets say you have a Insurance site but for some reason you get traffic from school kids. This kind of traffic won't convert to insurance company So they might complain Google about it. and Google's simple reaction would be banning the publisher.

They won't BAN you for that (unless they think the traffic's suspicious or fraudulent), however they WILL "smart price" you (charge the advertisers less for clicks on ads on your sites).
