Does GoDaddy make you pay a year for a .tv

Just wondering because when i try to register one it says 29.99 a "year" Do they make you use credit card to make sure you pay for it yearly? If so is there anybody that doesn't?

Every registrar will make you pay for a year when trying to register a domain. You should seek out any coupon codes which might give you a discount on the first year. After that, it's pretty much going to be $29.99/yr wherever it's registered. You can usually use any payment method GoDaddy has available, of which credit card is the most universal method.

Dynadot & Name are $10.99 a year for multiple years.

You could get for 3 years there.

tbh, if you think the domain you are going to register isn't even worth a year of reg fee, then don't register it......
