Does anyone really know what time it is?

Probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, but why does the Names Pros timetable always seem to be way off? It's still shows an hour earlier than the true time.

In my case, I'm on Western Pacific time out here in California, which means it's around 1 o'clock right now. Yet my NP posting will still say it's much closer to noon!

I've chosen Pacific time on my NP profile field, which is the most correct indicator to where I am, but it still seems to be coming up something else... Mountain time, or whatever. Any suggestions?

(Tell me the big secret, and then I'll omit this thread.)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
User CP => Edit Options => Date & Time Options => Time Zone => DST Correction Option => Select Automatically detect DST settings

That should do it.

Thanks, Surf, I got it fixed now. But the correct indication wasn't "automatically detect DST settings," because I already had it set on that.

What did the trick was to go into the "automatically detect DST settings" and then select "DST corrections always on." Once I did that, everything worked.

Thanks again.
