Well one nearly sold for $2300 (I think) in this wednesdays auction and the seller decided not to sell at that price so I believe 3-character.com's still hold their value, if they haven't risen in value more.

I'm pretty sure it was 3-letter, I don't remember the seller but ManicGirl was the one who made the winning bid, shame it wasn't enough to avoid a buyout.

This website is pretty dead on.....at least from my only 3 character purchase....i bought a nll.com off of ebay for $85(in the past month or so).....and this site prices them at $80 for a .com....
glad to see i was not ripped off..at least on this one

3 CHARACTER .com's are always backorderd at Snap, it seems (I never "win" one cleanly ).
3 LETTER .com's are still the cream of the crop for resellers.

Allan is correct. Its worth noting as well that most 3 character domains on snapnames seem to go for low $xxx on snapnames too- that site really gets on my wick, I simply haven't got the money to compete with the big boys on there, and it gets all the names I go for (just as a matter of interest, I have backordered 100's of names at pool and snapnames, pool has never secured a SINGLE one for me )
I think at the moment 3 character and 3 letter domains see one of the most stable increases in value out of all the niche markets in the industry.
