CC.CC value?

Hi,

Any guesses on the value of 2 character .cc domains? I know the extension is rather crappy, but I think all 2 char domains are priceless.

I am not talking about the domain CC.CC, but about 2 character .CC domains in general.

There were ten that sold for $3000 each, they were all country codes (CC = country Code - get it?) . Four others are listed on Namebio.com: $5K, $2.5K, $1.6K and $1.2K, some of them also country codes. So I think someone is collecting those LL.CC domains that are also country codes. I bet you can find them lower than $3K.

There is a difference between two Character and two Letter names. If you are talking about two letter names I wonder what you are basing your price on.

There are 506 two letter .CC names listed on SEDO out of 676 possible. All are make offer, which makes me suspect that all or most of them are owned by the same person. I checked LL.vc and LL.la names, both had about 80 listed - some with prices, many without. So there may be a large owner of LL.cc's out there, and, if so, I doubt he would sell cheaply.

SEDO lists only 3500 two and one letter names in total - I agree they are quite rare. -- But there is not a large market for them at this time.

As most know cc.cc sold for $70K so there are always exceptions.

The Chinese are big on .cc , quite a lot of sites and they prefer short one or two letters or preferably numbers.
