Do you wear glasses?

I've been experiencing some vision issues lately, definitely caused by looking in the computer display for too long... So I'll probably go to the eye doctor to see if I need to wear glasses or something.

I was wondering how many of you wear glasses? Lenses? Did they help you or worsen your vision even more?

I'm near sighted and wear glasses while driving....I wouldn't say wearing them will worsen your vision, if anything help stabilize it....If you find yourself squinting a lot or getting headaches while reading it's time for an exam.

I have no idea what it's like to not have glasses. The only time they come off is in the bed, kind of like clark kent and superman :D

Ummm things at a distance are blurry. So what would that be?

I have one 20/20 eye (used to be worse) and one horribly far sighted eye (gets worse)

I basically only see out of one eye, it is very dominant.

When I do the test closing one eye and seeing how much my finger moves to see which eye is dominant - my finger doesn't move when I close and open my left eye heh

I have glasses an worn glasses for a decade or so. But an operation messed with my optical nerves so I stopped wearing them. They hurt my eyes. Sad too since they were Guess brand -- cost close to $300

I have Myopia, Astigmatism, Glaucoma
and wear glasses 24/7 (i usually fall asleep with them still on)
But could be worse ,at least I am not blind.

so to see my checks very clear i have to put them in front of my face.

imagine falling asleep wearing eye glasses suddenly all our dreams are clear from a distance.

I used to see fine without glasses but I developed tons of floaters from too much computer use so when I'm at the computer I wear sunglasses under my cheap drugstore glasses. I can still see them with the sunglasses and the brightness turned down on the monitors about as low as they go.
