Unstoppable Domains — AI Assistant

Do you think namepros should make the site more user-friendly and less complex?

To start a discussion on this , let us look at the kind of forum options they give for an example:

https://www.namepros.com/whats-new/posts/8599937/

Do you believe if they were to limit these hundreds of options, the viewing time will increase and so would be the objectivity of the content through wider reach? Who does not know the surfing habits of viewers generally on the web, and this is not translated while structuring namepros, or perhaps is too outdated and needs a re-look and refurbishing.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

The amount of new threads daily excluding the marketplace area is not much. Time to make one forum section that covers news, sales, expiring info and other things. Setting up forums with a separate section for everything possible is only for forums that are very busy with new threads.

Our views were more encircled around the number of menus, sub-menus, than just new threads. We meant the overall look and feel was far too complex unnecessarily than desirable, from a more productive perspective. This is too distracting and not allowing focus on something that you look for.

The first few days after signing up I was disoriented by the amount of information and categories and subcategories. But then, by visiting the forum every day I began to orient myself, to select, to choose the sections, etc. This forum is more than twenty years old, we could say that it is a historical resource, it is like a chest full of treasures that you can take out for free and take what you like and what you need.

I grew up on the internet with forums, not social media. I'm glad that after 25 years of my presence on the internet there are still forums like this, outdated in design and layout, but not in contents.
Namepros is not a dormant forum, but an active one, with active people writing here. And the things written 20 years ago are not the things that are written today, because people evolve, regardless of the dress (layout) they wear.
imo...

Agree totally. Not saying they are bad , but too too damn complex unnecessarily, so they could improve and there is scope for doing that.

Agreed; we had planned to do this, but lately we've been focusing on other projects.

Time to make one forum section that covers news, sales, expiring info and other things. Setting up forums with a separate section for everything possible is only for forums that are very busy with new threads.
Agreed; this is the idea behind our aggregate forums:

Do you think we should hide the rest, or do something else?

We're eager to simplify this for newcomers in a way that isn't too disruptive to current members.

Your feedback is appreciated. :)

Absolutely. The moderators on this platform decide what domains should go in Top Domains and which ones do not, but the moderators may not have any idea of what a liquid domain is. They are also unable to give advice on why domains do not qualify in the top domains section.

You can hide the following sections:
- Appraisals: Most of them are crap names
- Politic: Only a couple of people keep saying the same thing over and over again.
- Wanted to buy: No one is buying, They are asking the impossible: Godaddy appraises over $10,000, takiing in 150 extension, 4 letter dictionary word, etc...
