Do you remember what was the first website you ever visited on the internet ?
I remeber mine. it was cnn.com. in the year 1995 and i was using a browser called Chameleon.

I do remember.
It was 2001, of cause I used computer before but not internet.
I remember not just the first website I visited but my first search word.
When I was 14 my family moved to another country and I had a very painful nostalgy, so my first website I visited was yandex.ru (search engine) and I typed "Baku" waiting with a beating heart to see images of my Motherland.
Those images were the first thing I saw in internet
I had dialup and needed to wait a few minutes to see each image.. they were appearing slowly..
I used Internet Explorer, and I think it was v5

It was probably Alta Vista on Netscape in around 1996. Was using America Online before that, but finally got my own internet connection and everything changed after that!

1996 my first website was AOL, using Netscape.

They sent CD's in the mail for people to try AOL, so I signed up and have been online ever since.

Before that I went to a friends house in 94-95 who had a computer and a dialup connection to a BBS called MagiBus. No website, but there was chat and eMail.

How the time shave changed...

CompuServe ...early 90s. Didn't really have websites then ...not as we know them today anyways. So I don't really remember the first website but yeah, I used to spend a whole lot of time on CompuServe. Dial-up of course.

I had been on the internet for quite some time before the web, mostly using IRC.

As for the web, it was in 1994. I was one of Earthlink's first customers and actually they started right in my area at that time. I have no idea of the first web page I ever visited.
