Do 'Unique' visits to a parked domain mean it may be a desired domain? I have all of my domains parked, and when viewing the 'unique' visits to the domains, I see that for each of the past few days, there has been a dozen or more 'uniques' to each of these three domains of mine:

renewableandalternativefuel.com

renewablealternativefuels.com

renewableandalternativefuels.com

Being a newbie, I think a 'unique' visit, is one in which somebody specifically types that domain address in the address bar, is that correct?
Is getting over a dozen uniques to each of these domains for the last few days, a sign that these may be desireable domains?

Not necessarily. It could be bot traffic. :(

Hmm thanks for that. I am hoping that with all the talk, and advances in new fuels, and energy sources, etc, that this will be a popular searched topic, and that these domains may become valuable & desired

A unique visit normally refers to each unique IP (Internet Protocol): "The Internet Protocol is responsible for addressing hosts and for routing datagrams (packets) from a source host to a destination host across one or more IP networks. For this purpose, the Internet Protocol defines the format of packets and provides an addressing system that has two functions: identifying hosts; and providing a logical location service."

They can come from type-ins, organic searches, or even referrals. It's important to ALWAYS research where the traffic is coming from. Sadly, there are many unethical sellers out there that try to manipulate traffic to boost value, which technically, is a form of fraud and illegal in most countries.

Thanks for the explanation, I guess I can't see where the traffic is coming from, but I hope it keeps coming
