There is this great domain I wanted but in order for me to get it I will need some type of a millionaire type paying job. The domain has great potentials of making thousands a month if you put time into it. The name just says it all and its search engine friendly and it can be used for whatever.
Now, here is the deal. I can use the domain but for me to use it then I will have to put down $5,000 and then go into partnership with the owner and he will make a certain percentage of the monthly earnings for ever. I have a certain period of set time for me to make it a successful site or else he will pull the plug off me and take it back (the site must make thousands a month within that set period of time as stated in the contract). Now, I will be doing all the advertising, spending money on design and coding and everything. Basically the thing is he dont have time to create a website but he's willing to sell the domain for over a quarter million dollar. Since I can't afford that much, thats the best he can do for me.
Is this a good idea? It sounds like a Win/Win situation but what if I fail to make thousands a month during the set period of time mention in the contract and then I lose my $5,000 and my hard work?
I use to own a site that use to make about a thousand a month but that was awhile ago when I didn't have a full time day time job.
Should I jump on this? tempted
