Do Any Geo .Com Owners Pay Monthly Fees To The Domain Owners?

Hi,

Are there any geo owner .com developers that have to pay monthly fees on names? Say the owner of a city .com name they own for years dosent want to sell but is willing to lease out the name to the geo .com developer? The geo developer is dying to have the name but the owner wont sell outright and will take monthly income and contract..

so lets say a city name is worth 150k but the owner wont sell.. So the geo developer does a contract, there happy so they can brand the domain out and do what they want with it on there own platform. The owner draws an income each month. Both parties happy.

Any examples or who is doing this would be helpful.. thanks in help..

I think i heard before that either LasVegas.com or Vegas.com gets leased out for a few million dollars per year for the domain.
