$900-1000 tops. LLL.net has slowed down immensely

with $3k/month PPC earnings, I'd say it's easily a $100,000+ name

oops...

didn't see the stats...3k/month = $36000/year. Generic 3L.net. So thats $36,000 x 6-10 = 216000 - 360000. Value of name - $900.

I would say something around $250,000 would be a very good sale.

the traffic is almost type_in, some come from diy.com ; some from diynet.com...
the domain_ppc company had been baned the ip from mainland China, even that...

diy.net have 700-1100 ips/day got us$70-120/day...
almost 2200-3600/month revenue.

I think some of the traffic has to be from typos of DUI.net too

If people don't know, DIY also stands for Do It Yourself. VERY good domain. With 3K/month PPC, I value it at high xx,xxx.

Yes, this isn't just a 3 letter, it's also a valuable keyword.

:sold: I'll take it :hehe:

Very nice domain, DIY (Do it Yourself, home improvements) is a massive market in the UK

Diy.com is owned by one of the biggest department chains, B&Q - The UK equivalent of Homebase !

Nice :xf.love:

It would be a joke if you do not get at least low XXX,XXX

DIY Network is an established tv station. It is a very big program on comcast cable. There current site is - http://diynetwork.com/ and almost everything they do on TV they put up online so people don't have to follow the TV

Contact these people, if they do not offer you at least XXX,XXX I would be very surprised.

It is no keyword guys, this is a HUGE TV network. This channel always mentions there site and this domain would be very valuable to them.

Offer it up to them bro, don't settle they have money and would love this domain.

I want to see this domain on their channel :D

Good luck.

Lol funny first post sashas :)... lucky you corrected yourself.

DIY = Do it yourself... one of the best 3 letter .nets I have seen around

an easy $xxx, xxx, you should try selling it at GreatDomains or T.R.A.F.F.I.C or one of those auctions where the big cats play.

Good luck and congrats on an awesome name!

Hi Sashas,

Could you please explain your evaluation model, above? Exactly how does it work, and what is its basis?

Thanks.

Here's how it works for generic revenue names:

You take the monthly earnings of a name and multiply it by 12. That gives you the yearly earnings. The norm in the industry for generic, non TM names is to give between 6-10 years worth of revenue, plus the value of the name. Since this name earns approx. $3000/month, it earns $36,000 per year (assuming absolute values for ease of evaluation). Taking the norm for the industry and multiplying this $36,000 annual earnings by 6-10, we get the approximate value for the name.
Keep in mind that no reseller will give you the exact amount you get from this model, but it still gives you a good ballpark value of your name.

Take care.
