I've been considering whether to sell my almost 1 year old site, which I've spent a lot of time with.
It has over 16,000 posts with a very famous reputation just within the MyBB community.
To date, we are probably the most active MyBB webmaster community, but I could be wrong.
Our Alexa is around 182,000~ with very decent traffic flow, I can send snapshots of stats if needed.
The site is basically self running now, with an occasional post here and there; basically no work for the owner.

We have a potential ad revenue of around $600 every month, and that's only around 1 year.
We haven't added much ads anywhere, so it hasn't been optimized much.
Our actual revenue at the moment would be around $9.42 or so.
We're running a highly customized version of MyBB, a forum software that doesn't require renewal.

What are your monthly hosting costs ?
Do you have any other recurring costs (such as advertising, etc...)
How much time is required (per day or week) to manage / moderate the users and content?

What does "potential ad revenue" mean? What do you actually earn? Can you provide screenshots or proof of revenue please?

Our hosting costs around $60 an year
At the moment, we do not have recurring costs, but our contests usually take place once every few months.
As for time, I am really active, but I'd say around 1-2 hours a week, as the site is almost self running.

By potential, I mean if we fully optimized our ads everywhere, or 2 ads a page, which we are far from.
We currently earn roughly $5.42 for AdSense, and our custom adspace costs around $9.99/month.
Right now we have one ad purchaser who has paid around $15 for 6 months.
Also, I will be taking snapshots of our stats and AdSense and posting them up.

Well that's a very deceptive title and method to sell imho.

If you want to talk offers I am willing to offer $150.

With $7 a month in revenue I can't see a reason to offer more. I just want the database anyways.

I think $300 would be a very generous offer based on what you are making a month and the few active members.

OK, so the $600/month is purely a hypothetical number based on potential ? If the hard current / historical revenue figures are in the low $xx per month, then I think a $xxx price range is more reasonable - even taking into account organic growth of the site and expansion of revenue streams.

Yes, indeed it is, yes, I see why for the XXX range.
However, I'll change the title, even though it seems as if titles seems to take a long time to change.
Right now then, I'll settle for anywhere around $500 to $1000, with the BIN at exactly $1000.
By the way, changing the title as we speak.
