fools.fun seems a better option - singular is a premium - so if there are any fools out there - this is your chance

it is me:)...I also got emirates.fun, but uae.fun is in auction now:)

Congrats ya lucky bastard! Lol

For all gtld domainers.

The silver lining in all gtld's like this .Fun is what we all have been seeing like with .Bet it's these ridiculously high renewals.

So our domains have immediate value because if someone buys ours.

No bs high renewals $x,xxx.

Always remember to make this point.

That your domain is NOT REGISTRY OWNED = NO $x,xxx renewals .

Good luck to all.

I only tried to grab words or abbreviations that sold for $xx,xxx in the past.

Niches perfect for .Fun?

Geo's
Gambling
Gaming
Kids
Tourism

Idea for all .Fun registrants

Since these domains are going for high renewals. If you grab some good ones

Why not contact registry and have THEM kick off your sedo "$100 offer push to auction" since THEY stand to benefit from having such domains at auction and being sold?

And once they buy them back they can do to these domains what they did to all the domains they reserved for themselves?

Worse case scenario? You get your .Fun domains to auction on sedo for free.

It's a win win for the registry and you.

You get to flip at auction they get exposure for their .fun.

If they win they stand to benefit if they lose to a higher bidder they still stand to benefit as it will show the world their .Fun's value.

It's all about getting .Fun domains into free sedo auction.

I think this can work for pretty much any gtld's?

What do you think?

Like that Emirates.fun that for sure should have been reserved with A $12k renewal. But it wasn't .

Would the registry benefit by placing a secret bid of $100 @Sedo? I bet they won't go higher?

But at least gets your .Fun to market.

Unfortunately, I don't think Sedo is accepting .fun yet. Although, I haven't tried today.

It's interesting how the registry prices the premium domains. As I can work out past sales are a big factor for their premium name selection process. I have just searched and found that warez4.fun costs $300 just because warez4fun.net sold for $1k in 2008. Interestingly enough warezfor.fun is available at regular pricing. Another one: Onlinegaming4.fun is $3000 (!) but onlinegamingfor.fun is available again.

I presume a lot of registries do the same, just thought it would be interesting to share.

Just another example of a greedy registry trying to make a fortune off of a mediocre extension. Nothing for me, plenty of other extensions to choose from with much better pricing.

I absolutely agree with you - very greedy.
That said you can still reg. greedy /dot/ fun with no premium! :) that's real sarcasm...hehe

Have Fun.
(Its not my domain)
'Have Fun.' is anyway not a domain, it's a sentence (a wish) :xf.cool:
That's why I cliked 'Thank'.
So, thanks again, have fun too!

hey hey. did someone actually just register F**K.fun right now today? Impossible! am I dreaming? THAT keyword was not reserved by the registry?

or was it bought by someone from Registry? usually if it's taken by registry it has the usual huge reg price plus renewal blatantly shown.

anyone with any ideas? probably got sold to the major sites?

VRS*x.fun
S*xVR.fun

Who thinks VR+keywords and reverse would be perfect for .Fun? :xf.wink:

I leave it up to you all. I'm officially done with .Fun. lol

lol what's the renewal on that one? $1,000,000?

not yet ) but once you register, you'll find out that it was a protected name ))

Here is the tip though ) If you need "fun" in your name, just reg the island cctld .is for affirmative and norwegian cctld .no for negative )

Examples:
Money.is/fun
WastingMoneyis.no/fun ))

you can also go for .my )

Whereis.my/fun ))

And .me:

Give.me/fun )
