No offense to the owner of this domain. It's a very nice domain. I'm just confused with BrandBucket's review process.

Maybe they have too many cloud domains? IDK this domain seems to fit their marketplace. Personally, I'm not a fan of the keyword Smartly. There's not many "smartly" sales reported in NameBio. Plus I prefer Smart > Smarter > Smartly.

Nonetheless, most "Smartly" Domains are owned by BrandBucket ambassadors. I'm not saying.... I'm just saying perhaps this domain was overlooked by said ambassadors? I would PM Michael and resubmit this domain if I were you.

Yes, there are many CloudKeyword and KeywordSmartly names on BB... I don't think either that "Smartly" would be a great keyword, I was astonished first when I see the great number of similar names on BB. I instantly regged two names with this keyword, of which I submitted one. (And I have a list of maybe 4-5 names similar to this one, that I wanted to register.)

But it's okay, there are many other places where I can sell this name. I'd be totally happy selling my few accepted BB domains :D Thanks for the advice though, I'll maybe PM Michael.

Maybe names that jump out at me (2 worders) are not where brandbucket is aiming, I don't generally love made up names. Time to re-tune my brain!.

This is very interesting to me. I've been around 10%-15% with NR and around 30% with BB. Things are starting to shift. My BB percentage has been decreasing as of recent while my NR has been increasing slightly. I have terrible luck when it comes to choosing keyword domains for BB. Though, I will add I sold a keyword + cloud domain on BB.

NR has accepted quite a few of my BB keyword rejects and vice versa BB has accepted quite a few short brandable NR rejects. I have been developing a theory that BB is more of the family branding company as NR is more edgier and practical. For example BB rejected GoldenTequila.com. NR accepted it. It's said that NR founder does a lot of traveling. I imagine he looks practical brands that will work in regions. Domains like AlohaMaids and Kauaiian are great for the Hawaii niche, since it doesn't classify as generic brands, BB rejects these while NR takes the practical chance.

Ok - back to the reason I'm here. Ninja + Q... Jaq = Jack? I'm no doubt partial to the domain because it's mine so I welcome any and all thoughts on this domain.

Invented domain names are called fanciful names by the trademark office and all the more desirable for branding.

I recently submitted a list of domains which include discreti and designilo so we'll see what they think of those.

With that said, when I'm going through a drop list or auction list, I'm looking for any good name that resonates with me or that I think has value for whatever reason. Getting accepted on BB is just a bonus. Everytime I think I've figured them out a name gets accepted that I never thought would and vice versa.

I do the same but I have created a list of my personal favorite root words which have resulted in quick sales for good prices and I stick to the list.

I no longer buy short URLs but am leaning to exact keyword searches.
