Just had

A U T O N O M I Z E

rejected.

While I recognize it is a bit long and difficult to spell, in the age of autonomous cars, robots, artificial intelligence, etc., I thought this was a really good name. It means "to make autonomous".

CRAFTLEY

That would have been a good one if it didn't have the E. I don't think I've ever seen any sell that have keyword plus LEY. I checked on some latest sales and PADLEY sold for $660 but it was someone's last name.

Yeah, but craftly is already taken. Interestingly the -LEY version has more back links and visits. While i bought it to sell, the traffic has made it much more likely I will just park it.

Of course it is taken and every other decent keyword is taken when adding LY. Craftly is a full on working business so who would want to try to brand their business with Craftley. Since Craftly was taken the original owner ,who's name is Ashley, was trying to be slick and end the name like her personal name to give it a bit more personality. Craftly is in the trademark process so in my opinion just park it and try to make some money off it. Even though the trademark process is not complete, I am sure the Craftly attorney's used some bully tactics to get her to stop using the name. Just my opinion.

That's a whole lot of projection, with little fact. I happen to have done substantial research on the name and know far more about the story than I presented or that your 5 minutes of research indicated. For instance, craftly has been bought out and is winding down operations under that name. Best to do more research before throwing out inaccurate or incomplete information.

Little fact? Here is a FACT right here. The trademark registration review was just completed last month so for a company that is winding down operations it makes no sense to continue the trademark application.

I was not knocking anything you said Cocaseco except the fact that the name sucks and I was trying to give you insight into why they REJECTED it. There are a thousand keywords better than CRAFT and most of them would suck if the name ends in LEY. That's a fact!

CRAFTLY

Yes, little fact...You have no idea what the original owner named it what it is. You have no idea what, if anything, lawyers from any other brand did. Those two FACTS alone, negate your entire post. The fact about an in process TM isn't disputed, but its also not relevant. If anything, it adds value to the name. Once you start to exaggerate and extrapolate, you lose credibility, regardless of if you had something valuable to add. Not sure what you really added, especially since you are not exactly successful on BB, nor recognized on this forum for your brandable sales knowledge.

Also, professional feedback is valuable, but using unprofessional opinions like " The domain Sucks" are disparaging and can influence future buyers on this very forum. I say this as I have an offer from someone here, before it was rejected, and if that buyer thinks you are an important factor in the domain world, your lose lips may sink the deal. They also do little except to show your limited ability to respond in a professional manner and a very limited vocabulary. This is feedback on how to get along with people. Far better to simply state facts of why YOU don't like the name or why You THINK BB rejected it. You need to learn tact, it will help you in all aspects of life.

Notice how when @AndrewRice gives feed back he leaves one or two brief ideas? Notice how he might say he doesnt like it, but he doesn't say it sucks. That's professional and useful feedback from someone with a much higher degree of BB success than you.

Lastly, you have no idea why it was rejected. To state that you do is pure arrogance. Again, some people with a long history of acceptance might get away with that from experience, but you can't. Saying there are better keywords than CRAFT is silly as that's not whats at issue. To also say that most would suck with an LEY suffix, has nothing to do with this word and further illustrates your ignorance as it is anything but a fact, its an opinion. Best if you at least try to stay on point as you clearly have problems differentiating fact from opinion.

I don't really post here for feedback, I post here to show others what doesn't get accepted. I welcome OBJECTIVE and FACTUAL responses, but yours was neither. I don't buy names solely for BB. As I have posted before, its a filter. I guarantee this name will sell, but you won't see me posting about it as I never post sales.

Edit: I forgot to add that the CRAFTLY TM, even if pursued and granted, is explicitly for a subscription based business model. there would still be plenty of room in the craft world for other uses. Don't fear TM's, learn about them.

Not recognized for my brandable sales knowledge? That's laughable. Go ask Ryan who has sold him over $100,000 worth of domains in the last 8 months. :)

If you open up your ears you could actually learn something!

If you would shut you mouth, you might too.

Nice deflection though...your actions prove my points, thank for playing.

P.S. Professionals don't have to brag about sales, they aren't trying to prove anything. And usually those that do, are grossly exaggerating, as evidenced by your other posts. Now move along please. if you have anything else to say, do it privately so you don't continue making a fool of yourself.

Who's bragging? What, to the 5 people that visit this lowly thread. If I was bragging I would post all my sales in the sales thread or brag when people PM me. I don't ever. Ray-equity78 (TLDinvestors) wanted to write a story about a $20,000 sale from a $10 Godaddy closeout that I had a couple of years ago but I told him no because it's just not my style to brag like you say I do. You question my brandable experience and the best way to shut people like you up is to post sales numbers. Sales is definitely what divides those that know what they are talking about and those that don't.

I do like how you use the term Professional when referring to yourself. Having an avatar of a baby smoking weed or some ridiculous looking clown is really professional. Incredible!! LMAO

I just saw your motto "Only pussies report posts. Mom...he said something, waaah." on your profile page. How old are you, 12? Really professional. LOL

Easy folks. We all have difference of opinion, and in fact this is how we learn from each other, but no need for it to become uncivilised.

I'm sure both of you have your specific strengths and weakness, share them and learn instead of just arguing ;)

You are absolutely right. I'll get the mods to remove this nonsense.
