I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

Kinda like crashing a drone forum to take a few shots while 'the game' is going on. In either case, we're talking about 'shit shooters' with a personal agenda.

Some have the foresight to ban personal drone shooters before 'the games' begin, others only learn after a crash. Some never get it.

Posts that express and reflect an impression made by a string of "bad" drone posts, is fine as well.

Trying to censor my speech is Not Cool. I'll use whatever so called "code words" I please. Thank you!

The reality is there are online anti-drone propaganda campaigns going on, and I do my best to counter them, be they from Jihadis or domainers, because there are tens-of-thousands of positive drone users, and hundreds of positive drone applications, for every bad drone user and application. So when individual postings get the ratio wrong, it ID's an 'agenda', and will likely trigger a response.

You're talking about flying drones over vast areas of open land vs. the space where the majority will be flown...populated areas!

Amazon is dreaming up drone delivery which just isn't going to happen. The first time someone gets killed because of malfunction the game is over. And I know you'll say people die in cars daily but it's apples and oranges. People choose to drive cars, they don't choose to get hit by a drone while watching a tennis match.

Folks are acting as if drones are making a positive change on humanity. In reality they're just vehicles to further line the pockets of large corps who are pushing to commercialize them.
