discuss Discuss and Showcase Drone Domain Names

NamecheapNamecheap
Watch
I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

Feel free to showcase your drone domain names on this thread.

Might be a very bad idea for busier skies/airports!

There are over 250 million cars in the US, navigating their way on the 10% of the surface area covered in asphalt. The Sky is about 40,000 degrees bigger than its surface area, and only about 7,000 planes are navigating its airspace at any given time. I think there is enough room for drones.

Also, the more sky you open-up, the safer, and quieter, traffic becomes ... as there is more space between aircraft. Restricting consumer drones to low airspace zones would be like restricting motorcycle traffic to residential streets so commercial trucks can have the expressways.

Local nuisance laws would so restrict noisy consumer drone flights it would choke-off the massive growth that happens when there is massive space to fly, and grow, into.

There is enough room. The problem is not about room but more about choas 'untrackable' (for lack of better word) drones will bring, so limiting the 'lanes' makes it easy to 'take down' drones that go outside it.

Both TakeDownDrone dot com and UntrackableDrone dot com available, DroneDowner dot com taken in 2013. Someone was thinking ahead ;)

I haven't read this thread for quite a while.
I didn't realise how many "Drone" names I have.
I have 25 out of a portfolio of 150 names.
Do other members have a high percentage of "Drone" names?
I think that my 25 names will prove to be a worthwhile investment, because most of them are very relative to the latest drone trends. (At least I hope so)
I just decided to park them all at Sedo with realistic B.I.N. prices which are all in the low $xxx range. I haven't used them for quite a while either; so I'll check them out again to see what results I get.
If I get any sales, I'll list them here.
If I don't get any sales in 3 or 4 months, I'll try another platform.

Regards

Ralph.

I get why restricting citizen drones to the shallow, low speed, 'baby pool', makes sense when considering all the earthly applications that dominate discussions today. But, legally restricting individual drones to 200 feet blocks the future for private drones operating in space.

I expect, within the next 5-10 years there will be a pro-sumer version of NASA's (propeller-to-propellant) space drone. I also expect the next gold rush will be a private prospector, space-drone-driven, mining of the asteroid belt for desperately needed minerals, that are worth Trillions.

So a little vision now will go along way, future-wise. But, vision appears to be too much to expect from U.S. corporations, and policy makers, who can't see beyond the next quarter's earnings statement or election.
The future for drone-driven possibilities will likely be in countries without 'baby pool' mandates.

I have Celesdrone.com

Ha....I reported on the drone drops drugs in the main thread long before you reported here.
But still, drones can be used for anything now.
Just do not get caught!

Nice sale. All profit is good profit. If it was priced too high it may not have sold.
