I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

B. Nobody is judging. Facts are facts.

1. Godaddy coupons and loads of BS regs.
2. Not knowing how to sell or when it's wise to accept an offer.
3. Thinking they know it all and ignoring clear cut advice from those who know better.

I think its better than Drone Hangar to be honest, so why should it have a $500 BIN price with hope that it sells?

I mean, conservation drone will absolutely never sell except for an uneducated domainer. On the other hand, drone hangar is a great drone name.

DroneHangar is a good name and I'd probably prefer it but there are some developed sites on conservation drones. There are plenty of reasons as to why conservation drones would sell, why limit your price at 500? ... I'm fairly certain a great domainer like Keith wouldn't limit the sale price of a promising name. Hence the reason he has many sales in the x,xxx range right???

lets just clear one big thing up. Appraisals are not set in stone. The very nature of an appraisal is subjective. I personally prefer conservationdrone over dronehanger. Others are vice versa. Its no exact science.

Staying afloat in domaining is real tough. Don't get caught up in acquiring tons of names in a specific niche, especially if they're registrations. Buy a few aftermarket domains, sell, re-invest, build quality inventory instead of quantity.

Selling points really depend on your cost vs the offers and how long you want to hold out. Personally, I don't like inventory to collect dust, others seem happy to wait/gamble and perhaps never sell.

Drone hangars are physical things, they exist. Something like conservationdrone is really just a drone that performs a task. A conservationdrone, farmingdrone, moviedrone....all just really drones being utilized for different purposes. But at the end of the day nothing separates the 3 examples just listed, again, they're just drones.

That's why I think names like dronerepair, dronenews...are far superior to a description of how drones can be used (example: farmingdrone).

Have you researched this, it has huge potential, and a 1000% more potential than "Drone Hangar"

@Avabelle why did u delete the question? You didnt have to you know, IMO. It was a reasonable and normal question. Like all other similar sampling of opinions regarding pricing. @Keiths thinks its worth less than $500 and would be a windfall at that price, fair enough @Axorees thinks its worth more, good.

I dont see any problems in these views, only that because Keith has a reputation( deserved or undeserved) of being negative so anything he says put people on the attack. I personally would take $500 for that name and think i`ve done a good deal.
