I have recently read that the drone industry is trying to change the word "drone" to something different.

The word "drone" has a very bad rep. for obvious reasons.

What do you think will happen with the word "drone" and drone domain names?

Hi and welcome! /software would be a really, really, really great domain though the trend are nowadays app/s. But softwares (plural) are not a common word / keyword... But who knows...

The plural is getting the most traffic on Sedo - more than drone apps. (I'm a little surprised)

Well, that's one opinion.

There's a fine line between greed and common sense. It's always best to price wise and run with any fair offer. Although in the case of the mentioned domain, $500 might be asking too much, unless there are offers beyond that already...

Keith, you have to know that the majority of domainers here on namepros crossed that fine line into greed a long time ago.
