I guess so. I’m more of a long-term investor but decided to outbound and liquidate some names this month. It’s nice to see endusers still take a liking to cot coms. You had a great week I must say
Ugh.. this has happened to me 4 times this year already!
Buyer agrees on price, agrees to use escrow and never does complete payment.
My biggest pet peeve!
I sold two .com names via this forum today to another member.
$875 for both. About 40% less than the listed price.
@Fancy.domains - my apologies, just dawned on me that you didn't actually post in this thread, your posts were moved here by mods from the main thread and couldn't be moved to the correct thread since you have to include at least a letter of the domain
Right now I will see if this can be fixed finally.
nice, what price?gametrucks.com
My good year in sales continues with 2 more sales to report, making it 4 so far in less than 2 months.

Domain name: S / y / n / e / v / e / r / s / e (d o t) c o m

Listing upgrades: None
Sale price: Close to low to mid $x,xxx (not too low $x,xxx after commissions)
Total cost: $47.24
Holding time: 634 days (from purchase to sale)
Details: Initial offer came at $2000. I countered with 10 percent off of what was low to mid $x,xxx range, stating that it was my best and last offer. There was no reply of any sort to my counter, but after roughly a week I got a notice of sale from Brandroot to my inbox.
Needless to say that I'm pretty happy with this year's great start, especially with this dabbling in brandable domains being just a hobby. With 10 months left and some reasonably decent domains still in my collection, it would be safe to assume that this will be my first year with 5 figures in total net income from sales. Not all of that is profit, of course, but there will be more than enough to pay the taxman and further feed my addiction, with a bit of money thrown on little things that make life sweet
