Grab an iPhone, download Clubhouse app from join.club and there you go.. you will find a couple of voice chat rooms where they conduct auctions (almost) every night. I am in no way related to any of these but worth a try!

The app is only for iphone and ipad right now!

Thank you. Quick story short. When I started in 2019/2020 I was about 50-50 split not.coms and dot.coms. Then Pandemic happened and also saw that generally the not.coms were not getting many unique views at Efty or Afternic. I was getting some offers, which were accepted or turned down depending on price offered.

In 2020/2021 year I pivoted completely and now I'm at about 95% dot.coms. I now (this month) have had 1500 views alone at Efty and I have an addition 10 domains parked at Sedo and I've had 60 views in just over a week/10 days. I'd say that patience is very important and reading the market/end user. I still have a few 'legacy' not.coms which I shall continue to renew as I am getting regular unique views. Some of these can be seen in my NP Signature.

I hope this is of some assistance to you all.

    Regards,

    Reddstagg

    I'm at somewhere around 7,500 (+/- 250) domains now.

I register anything I can envision running a real business under. In this case it would be the 6th highest sale of a domain ending in "ventures", but I think many of the others lower in the list sold too cheap. upload_2021-2-25_10-29-36.png

    On a roll!

I see you use the Dan lander yet the sale gets done via Afternic, are they all on fast transfer? for better exposure.

Technically 2 incomplete months, 1.5 m + so - still in transfer lock, therefore no Fast Transfer.

Just a qs , how many times did you have to list it in the 7-day auction for the sale to happen?

I dont remember all the criteria ..but I remember there is a good few...a badge is just badge..the important thing is to have strategy or just our own proven way to generate roi.. what we want is end of year not be in red... after renewals etc.. its ultra simple to buy a good 1word .com for 100k ..and sell it for 50k next day..but that's not ROI

this is why I often ask posters here to say cost price..then we know roi.. roi is more important than even sale price.

    cheers
    happy sales.

do u think all these bin sales would be taking place without afternic and their expanded network? do u consider afternic with bin plus the somewhat lower prices as indispensable to your strategy and success? ty

Would that be so bad? Owner would keep any payments that have been made, and the domain. It's not a terrible outcome.

I can say for myself -
    1. First and foremost depends on the pronunciation. The pronunciation of the keyword should not change at all. Or it should change the least in case if it does (it should not change the essence of the name) For example intiimate and intimaate. The first one here will be spelled same as original while second one changes the dynamic of whole name. So here first is good, second is not.

    2. Depends on the placement of the letter like extra o will go great with word amigo but not in middle with word mould.

    3. After placement Depends on the repeated letter itself like repeated C letter in word peacocck or decck doesnt change the pronunciation, but repeated e letter in both words wont work like peecock or deeck.

    4. If any letter is already present twice in the word then further with same repeated letter it will have less value. Like word strict works great with double ii but with double tt in the middle wont work as great as there are already two t with the original word.

    5. The shorter the word is the better it will work like you cannot hope to sale long keywords like management in double letter.

    6. The more brandable a keyword is, the better chances it will have. The keyword having limited scope will have less chance of its sale

    7. Also Depends on commerciality of keyword. The bigger commercial the keyword, the lesser the lenient one can be for following above rules.
Like for crypto or blockchain no rules will apply for these words any repeated letter will work as these keyword have reached at different level.

    8. In the last like every other rules there are lot of exceptions depending on the keyword and other factors. So dont follow anything blindly.
Like every other niche it is not easy to sell these, one can in fact easily make mistakes.
So Don't just memorize it, understanding and learning is more important and that comes only with experience and willingness to research and give time to it.

For your domain frankly its not a great one but i will still suggest you to renew it. As wealth keyword is big enough to spend 8$ for renewal. I will keep renewing till it sells. But i will also make sure to sell it in the first offer for whatever decent price i get. Again this is me. For you something else can work depending upon your strategy and pricing.
PS. I own same keyword with double a.

    Hope it helps.

cheers tnx for this fine reply and summary

    I agree with u.

that being said one sure cant help but wonder just how many of those double letters 1word names are taken...cause there is whole bunch of good 1words..and then If u add all the combos of 2letters...then it makes for wide range of choices... but I guess no one knows or got a list.. maybe I'll go see about namebio filter to check sales... should be doable.

I dont hold many vr names. Probably just under 20 names I would guess.

Yes I outbounded this one. Think I could have got a lot more. Told them my buy it now price was $1,500 and they were happy with that.
