Has anyone done anything with the .Direct domains? Bought, developed, or sold? It just seems to be a great outlet for retailing products.

This .Direct extension is definitely getting attention. I have 3 pending sales just this week. All of them are in the $ XXXX range.

1.direct and 8.direct were mine. I also sold two other .direct for $2,500/$3,000 on Sedo; however the sales never finalized. I believe that the .direct extension has huge potential for retailing products: therefore I have quite a few premium domains.

Here is some more interesting information on the number of developed sites per extension. What I find very promising about this information is that the DIRECT extension already has more developed sites than extensions like BUSINESS, GLOBAL and INTERNATIONAL. This is without any hype what so ever on the DIRECT extension(Well besides myself. LOL). As awareness grows development should grow rapidly. To summarize, this extension just makes sense..

GLOBAL: 436,000
INTERNATIONAL: 446,000
LOL: 595,000
NEWS: 766,000.

I think Dating .direct is a $36 premium and all the rest are non-premiums.

Yeah, a potential generic one that makes it even better. I found no trademarks on it. It could even be MY brand.

I like Stationery.Direct. I think you should just hold it for now. I'm holding all of my best new gtld domain names. Its going to take atleast a few more years for these things to catch on with the general public. When that happens, the value will rise and I'll be a seller at that point.
