Difference between organic traffic and bot traffic

Hi everyone,
I have used bodis for about 2 months now and here is the story so far,

Is there a way to tell if those visits are from bots or from organic searches? Also, are there any websites or tools that allow you to filter out bot visit numbers? thank you.

You can use Google webmaster tools. When you register, add your site and it will show you keywords and clicks to your site from search among other analytic data.

I taught you had to setup a website of some sort to use the webmaster tools. How do you do that with just a name? or is the landing page considered as a website? apologies if my questions sound daft, I am newbie.
