advice Did I make a mistake on buying this domain name?

Hello,
I recently became DocuSign CLM Certified. DocuSign CLM is the new name of SpringCM. SpringCM is probably the largest professional document storage platform in the world (springcm.com)

When looking around for a domain name to make a portfolio of my skill I found that DocuSignCLM.com wasn't even registered, despite the fact that DocuSign/SpringCM plans on changing their name to "DocuSign CLM".

Did I make a mistake in buying that domain? I was just going to use it for a DocuSignCLM/SpringCM portfolio with advice. But after reading some posts on here, I think I might've made a mistake by buying it in the first place?

Yes, stay away from company (trademarked) names, it will only lead to trouble for you.

Ditto Big Time. Stay as far away from TM issues as you can.

That was a pretty obvious mistake but after years I still make a few mistakes I find out later about. Just don't let the cost of learning destroy your end goal take the time on the forums to read as much as you can. Absorb the lessons others make from their mistakes before you make your own. Welcome I see it is your first post.
