I was wondering if anyone has any experience developing a site with a large informational database. Since you start from scratch you have to get the information from somewhere. My question really is how one would go about legally getting information for the site to build content. For example a site listing information by countries, animals, etc... almost like a directory of sorts. I'm not one to copy off someone else's site or plagiaries so what is my best bet?
