ccTLD Developing a .pe name...

[idkwhy]

:hi:

I specifically bought a one word .pe name with the intention of developing it, however I've been reading around some threads here.. and I read that some users may be discouraged by the .pe name? Unfortunately I don't have much else of a choice. The only other TLD I can buy is .bz and I really don't like how close it is with .biz nor do I like the extension (I perceive it shadier than .pe)

If it matters at all, the domain is river.pe

Is there a chance people will not go to my site because of the TLD?

.pe is fine for a website if you'll be targeting Peruvians. Otherwise what would be the point of using .pe ?

I am not targeting Peruvians

The point was to have an easy, short URL that reflected the brand name of my website
