Developed Website vs Domain Name

I have multiple domain names I was wanting to develop into sites. As I got started on a few, they kind of grew out of control and I have more work on them than I have time to develop the rest.

Would it be more profitable to just sell the domain names or to partner with someone who could develop them for me and then split the profits?

I have never listed any of my domain names for resale as I have planned on using them myself. I actually would not even have a clue about what they would be worth or how to go about marketing them just for resale.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Your best bet is probably to develop one and then move onto the next. In the meantime, list the domains for sale and see if you get any offers on them. If you get an offer you like, you can always sell.

While you are waiting to develop, make sure you park the domains at a place like NameDrive. Feel free to PM me if you have questions about ND.

Like fonzie said, throw them up speculatively on NameDrive or Sedo [http://www.namedrive.com http://www.sedo.com] and see if the attract any offers. In the meantime, develop one site at a time, in the order of what you think is going to be worth the most at the time, and what you can achieve skill wise at this moment.

you won't have a clue on how much they're worth if you don't display them publicly and besides it's free ads you control it and you own it unless you sell.

If you're good at developing content then focus on that and either sell or park the domains somewhere.

Develop the names which you think have less potential and list the ones which are brandable and good potential names for sale at Sedo.

My exact sentiments.

You can prioritize your developments according to potential. Keep the ones that are less likely to earn you good $$$ to the last. If offers come along the way, sell them off.

Just my 2 cents.

Develop Develop Develop

If you park your domains and they make money then they are likely to make much more if you put up your own site.
