As another member of the website review team, I agree that we should develop the reviewing forum, but not so sure about appraising and placing a dollar value on sites...

Apprasing sites?

Sites value have too many factors. I think it would be hard to determine the real value for a website in one post, you need to know all the background information. The sites progress, how it is currently progressing.

You can't really determine the value by staring at the homepage, and how many hits it has that month.

Also, i don't think many people would appraise the sites, and those that do, would no doubt be way off the actual value.

I bet even members here that sell sites often would get the value wrong in some cases.

Could work, but just curious, how many sites get sold via NamePros? It could bring people in.

However, i think the already existing forum, "Developed Sites For Sale" forum is suitable.

But, hey, that's just my two cents. :D :red:

A lot of these things could be said about appraisals in general, they are mostly BS but it is always nice to get input from others on what they think your websites are worth in order to get a rough estimate for a selling price, or in order to identify what is bringing your site up or down in value to help you bring the value of your site up.
