Website Appraisals?

Hello,

Do you think we should have a Website Appraisals forum here at NamePros? maybe it could be a subforum of Domain Appraisals. The Website Appraisals forum would be a place for website owners to get appraisals for there websites/forums so they will know how much their site is worth and what price they should sell it for.

What do you think? :D

I agree, but people could post thier site just to get hits, maybe make it like xxNP$ to post one?..? The first three post look like the name person tlaking to themselves due to the avatars and similar sigs :P

Ya, I think it could be good. It would certainly help get a lot of those comments such as:

"more potential if developed"

out of the domain appraisal forum. Good idea!

I think we have enough amateur opinions around here already in the appraisal forums. No need to spread them around. Also those posting would need to disclose a lot of information to get accurate appraisal. I doubt most would do that so the appraisals would mostly be bullcrap. I don't really see the need or the point.

I don't really see the need or the point.

Who said that only professional domainers can appraise domains in the Domain Appraisals section? Haven't we all been amateurs at one point? In simple words, why do you people keep underrating these newbies instead of trying to help them. Isn't that what a community is for? I'm not trying to make such a big thing out of it but like.. come on! We know some of you guys are professionals at domaining and the least you could do is help and correct a new fellow domainer. That's how people learn. Some day these newbies will become like you, professionals and they can continue to share there knowledge with some other new domainers. You are influencing them to become like some of you pro's, over confident and unwilling to help people out.

People posting website appraisals would need to post alot of information to get an accurate appraisal. Yes, i agree but people are subjected to do what they please, they may choose to include alot of information to get an accurate appraisal if really need to know their websites/forums value and they may also choose to post little information if they are only looking for opinionated and biased appraisals then let them be :D If they want an accurate appraisal they will know what type of information they would have to include. :imho: so basically this is how it works, they give little information, they get inaccurate and opinionated appraisals, they give alot of information, they get the accurate appraisal they need. simple.

Feel free to bash my opinions if you wish but hey, that's just what i think :hehe:
