"Develop it"

I see alot of threads in the Domain Appraisals section telling each other to "Develop" their domain to make it more valueable. I am a professional web developer and a pretty creative guy...but I can't seem to find a way to make money using the internet :bah: I work for a for sale by owner site which does geat business (being a lowly developer I don't see much of it LOL) but was wondering what other kinds of sites actaulyl make money that I could develop in my free time?!

Since you are a developer, I'm sure you have a portfolio of your designs.

This portfolio could be your marketing tool, to generate business for yourself!

That will be the content of your website.......selling your creativity!

I personally use rentacoder.com to make some extra cash doing programming for others!

Development is only the first part in producing a money-makng website; marketing it is the second. If you can develop your domains, you can then sell them to people who are better marketers, but at a smaller price because the site is not yet profitable.
