Dems2008.org on eBay

I may have just made a huge mistake. I listed the domain dems2008.org on eBay. There is very little traffic, bid is at 12.50 and I didn't set a minimum. Does anyone have any ideas of how I could direct interested traffic to the listing?

Well - once it has bids , you're kind of stuck.

Perhaps sending some targeted PPC ads to it real quick ?

With 7 days still remaining - You never know what will happen really. Most bids are made in the last few moments IMO-

Some people have had success sending PPC ads to their sales pages / listings in the past ... Really depends on the name.

Depending on timing you may still have the option to end the auction early:

* The item is no longer available for sale.
* There was an error in the starting price or reserve amount.
* There was an error in the listing.
* The item was lost or broken.

With the assumption that you intended to enter a starting price, this cannot be counted as circumventing the reserve price fees (obviously not allowed by eBay).

Driving traffic towards the auction may bring the bids up however. As Mark rightly said there is still 7 days left with this auction which in eBay terms is a long while. My advice would be to carry on pushing traffic towards the listing and hope for the best.

Gotta ask - do you think this domain is "worth" (I know, I know - could not be more subjective of a question if I tried.) any more than the current bid? "Dems" don't call themselves "Dems", and "2008" limits it to a very short time-frame of use.
I know this wasn't an "appraisal" thread - but don't expect this to be anywhere close to USSenate.com... Think more along the lines of SerbianThirdHouseofCommons.tk
