Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us about the unauthorized listing of your domain portfolio on Sedo. We take situations like this very seriously and are happy to help resolve the issue.

We have investigated the matter and can confirm that the domains, including Bull-ish.com, have been deleted from our platform by the partner account that listed them. The domains are no longer available for sale on Sedo.

Please note that Sedo only allows domains to be listed by customers or partners who have the necessary permissions and allowances to do so. If you suspect that your domains have been listed without your permission, we recommend contacting your registrar or the platform where your domains are managed to clarify the situation.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected]

Best regards,
Sedo Team

So you are saying that in this case, the Sedo seller used an DNS TXT Authorization Code to list these domains, so he or she had to have direct access to the OP's registrar account? Or the registar partner listed the domains themselves.

That's what your comment sounds like to me, and if true, that's pretty scary.

ฤฐ unlock for ownership verification in Sedo. Then i check Whois.com. Everything is fine.

Then a message comes up saying we couldnโ€™t verify it. But everything is correct. ฤฐ send message and no one answers.

ฤฐ canโ€™t add domain names. Whatโ€™s wrong? They are manual adding options, but they donโ€™t work for me.

I've been trying to remove an outdated listing from 2012 or 2013 for a domain that wasn't removed when it expired and I backordered the domain in 2014 (new reg date).
I inserted the correct txt record to show I'm the owner but still nothing was done. I know the domain has been receiving several offers, sent to someone that doesn't own the domain.

A week later their system continues to ignore my support request 250728-000512 to remove an obvious old listing, that should have been removed automatically. I did everything Sedo says we must do, set the txt self-validation, added the domain to my account, contacted support. Nothing happens.

My support ticket at Sedo is unanswered for a week, my Sedo account is very old and with dozens of thousands of dollars in transactions. @Sedo , what is going on? Your verification system is not working well as we can see.

PS. I sent an email to your contact address (creating a new ticket... 250802-000180) because it seems my previous support ticket is on vacation.

Bull-ish.com was listed again on Sedo (two listings already lol)

Nobody will spend $xxxxxxx on fraudulent Sedo listings.

I dont believe on your reported sales probably all of them are fake.

Sedo is 1and1 company (ionos)

SEDO is not fraudulent, they have millions of domains
they can not track all these guys front running on different platform

The fix:

create a SEDO account,
list all your domains

then provide the proof,
they will remove the fraudulent listings, and they will never be listed by someone else

you may end up get a few sales from SEDO marketplace

SEDO is a great platform for european/asian domain name, their interface is translated in every local language

Sedo is horribly outdated (the account interface seems like it is more than 25 years old), its all works horribly and cumbersomely and everything takes too much time. There's lots more that is wrong with Sedo's site but they don't listen to customers and have not changed anything in many years. So I removed all my domains from them last year and now they send me "We haven't seen you in a while..." emails. SMH.

I never had an issue with fraud, so can't comment on that aspect. But Sedo is not "great".

Hi,

Wait... we need to tell you of each time someone fraudulently lists our names on your platform... which they can do because they have a super-special account and don't need to update the txt records of DOMAINS THEY DO NOT OWN... so they fraudulently keep listing our domains over and over again, and you keep de-listing them over and over, and they fraudulently keep listing our domains again and again...

...And you do nothing to the fraudsters? Not even a warning? Not even a "If you abuse your Sedo membership by fraudulently listing one more domain that you do not own, we will terminate your account due to your fraudulent activity"...

Why, when a serious problem is reported to you, do you not fix that problem by punishing the fraudsters who are abusing their Sedo accounts by listing domains they do not own?

I don't get why we need to 'keep reporting fraudulent listings', and then you keep removing those listings, but you keep letting the fraudsters re-list them again. Please explain to me how this makes any kind of good business sense???

If I owned your business, it would go this way for customers:
- you can purchase the super-account, but this is a trust based account; if you abuse it, you will lose it. You may list ONLY DOMAINS YOU OWN, through this super-account. If you are caught listing domains that you do not own, you will be given one warning. If you do it again, your account will be terminated and you will not be refunded any portion of your account fees.

There. Problem solved. - And yet you do not seem to be doing this...
