Hello,

do you have any figures/stats concerning the behaviour of end-users in the following case:

the domain name an end user wants is taken in .COM, but free in .NET and in its own .TLDCC.

How many percentage of them will default on the .NET and on the .TLDCC?

Anyone has figures/stats? What's your opinion?
For sure, I think the result will depend on the .TLDCC.

Regards.

I'm going to guess they get both. They would already be bummed for not having the .com, why leave either now?

If it's .co.uk, .de .fr, et al, I think the country .tld is even better than the .com. So yes, I think the results depend on the .tld, and his target audience. Why so shy to tell us the country .tld, instead of leaving us guessing?

Maybe because of the price?

My question is general, for all cctld. But for instance, we can take the example of .de and .in.

For global services, .net will be the alternative option if .com is not available, whereas for local services .ccTLD is always preferred to any other extension.
