David Hasselhoff in chandelier accident

US actor David Hasselhoff has been treated in hospital after being hurt in a chandelier accident.

Hasselhoff, 53, hit his head on a chandelier in the men's room after using the gym at the Sanderson Hotel in London's West End on Thursday.

His right arm was cut by shards of glass, severing a tendon.

I don't mean to laugh in a malicious way but someone hitting their head on a chandelier in the men's room is pretty funny!

What was he doing?! Chandeliers are usually up higher than the average height of people and sometimes way higher than that.

Considering his right arm was cut, I wouldn't assume it wasn't hanging.

I have no idea whether it's true or not, but that's the story they're running with.

He is 6ft4 so it's not totally implausible. Weird though about the arm but anything's possible I s'pose.

when I first read this all I could think is that he was trying to cut his wrist. Lets be real. Was he in the bathroom doing jumping jacks and hit that thing...lol

By the sound of the article, it was just one piece of glass that hit him, not the entire chandelier. He could have been wearing a hat he did not like, gotten angry and through it upwards, thus breaking some glass on the chandelier, which then fell and sliced his arm/tendon.

or he could have been cutting his writst, and when it hurt, he broke the chandelier to get help. That seems to be the most likely scenario.

Right, but, if his hat were stuck up there and reporters saw him walk in with it, and come out bloody only to go back and see his hat in the chandelier, it would seem to me the article could come out exactly as it is written when passed from reporter to office, to writer, to editor, etc...

Probably depressed because his singing career never took off stateside tho I hear he's a "god" overseas...
