I have been participating in a lot of 6N and 4L auctions, and I fell asleep and missed domain auctions that I was patiently waiting on for days.

I like the 6N, 4L domains at Pheenix auctions (caught some real gems with them), but this thing called 'sleep' got in the way.

More to the point, there is a particular user that always beats me out for Chinese friendly domains if I'm not last minute bidding . You are my nemesis, and I will defeat you

Anyone else lose a precious domain to sleep today?

Not today. But it's 3am in the morning when drops happen for me. So I place my bids and hope for the best. I'm always outbid on GoDaddy,for example. Any domain with bids seems to be a target.

A lot of people follow the flock, as they say.

I picked up some pretty good 6N's the other day, but competition is rising of course. Typically it's the same 5 investors. I don't think that Pheenix is over saturated like NJ, SN, and DC - yet.

I applaud you for your diligence. It's hard to compete when your timezone requires that you be at the auction table at 3am. I'm up late nights, but I pay for it when the kids come demanding "Dino Charge" at 7:30am and then I have to start my day on an hour of sleep.
