For the example below what does the seller get? Seller gets bin - 9% of bin for commission and 50% of markup? I do not understand "The longer the period, the lower the price the buyer sees."

The maximum period a lease can run before the buyer owns the domain. The longer the period, the lower the price the buyer sees. The buyer can pick the period and price that matches his situation. For periods over a year, the buyer needs to pay a markup percentage. The markup is added on the total sale price, and 50% of the markup will be used by DAN to cover for the recurring payment processing fees, domain renewals, providing DNS support to the buyer and keeping the domain in escrow for months if not years. The remaining 50% of the markup is paid out to our sellers monthly.

Example: with these settings, a buyer can choose to lease the domain over a maximum of 3 years. At the maximum period, a domain with a BIN of €5000 would cost the buyer €5,000 / 36 months + 20% markup = €166.67 per month.

"The longer the period, the lower the price the buyer sees" means the longer the period, the lesser the monthly payment.
