That guy has to feel like a fool with it being all over the internet/tv and the security woman coming over to talk to them. Thank goodness his daughter didn't get hurt, as she could have hit her head on the concrete pavement or the seat and cracked her head open.

So ridiculous that this little occurrence gets so much TV time on a sports channel. A similar incident where a fan at a Yankees game spilled a beer on another fan at the game going for a foul ball, they filmed how they behaved towards each other for at least five to ten more minutes... I saw the highlights on ESPN.

Seriously, don't we get enough 'reality tv' without having watch how fans act in the crowd. I don't watch baseball, or any sport to see the drama unfold in the crowd.

There would have been more news coverage if the girl had been hurt. I would say that it is a bit more than a little occurrence, as she could have fell back and hit her hard on the seat, or even worse on the concrete pavement which could have seriously injured her...or even paralyzed her if her head and neck bounced off the front of the seat. What if it happened to be an infant that was dropped rather than an older child?

It's shown on sports channels, because it happened at a baseball game...sports. It's more appropriate being shown on ESPN News than MTV news.

Any baseball fan knows there plenty of fill in time for silly things. The announcers crave this stuff because you cant talk about a guys heater for 3 straight hours unless all tv watchers have a bet on the game. Also breakroom thread starters like this stuff too lol

This was probably the most excitement seen in a Dodgers game in decades.

I still prefer watching the idiots running across the field. Not long ago, a fan dashed onto the field in Philly and lol The last thing the kid said was "...dude! Don't Taze me!" before he was stunned to the ground. lol I think it was in Baltimore the same season when a fan ran onto the field and no one really put a damn drop of effort into catching him. Security pretty much stood there and watched him prance around, leave via jumping into the crowd, and returning a moment later. Ugh I guess when your team sucks, ya gotta entertain ticket-buyers, one way or the other.

He payed attention to the ball, not the kid. If he wanted to save the kid then he wouldnt stare at the ball the whole time... He didnt even realize that the kids legs were put up and thats why he let her go.
