CVCV vs VCVC

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
As the LLLL.com domain market continues to gain momentum. CVCV domain names are definetly the hot commodites right now. Pronounceable LLLL dot coms are definetly fairing well at auction and commanding nice prices.

The question here is how does a VCVC compare to a CVCV?

Are they on equal footing? Thoughts please!

Justin

I think it definitely depends on the name, but most CVCV.coms will be worth a lot more than most VCVC.coms eg. vebo.com is a lot better than obev.com or ebov.com even though the same letters are used.

CVCV definitely is better than VCVC in general. Most companies and most names start with a constanant. IMO really only the VCVC with A as the first V are comparable to CVCV.

It seems like CVCV's just seem to sound/be better.
There aren't that many last letter consonants that could make a VCVC good.

I am fond of CVCV.com
Have 3 very nice one and 5 acceptable CVCV in my portfolio :)

True, but the eWORD.com case is unique above and beyond pronunciation. Thus while ebay technically is VCVC or VCVV (depending on how you classify it), it falls more squarely in the area of eLLL.com where LLL is a word here.
