Hi Blake,

I appreciate you being able to see through the haze of this thread how it stands currently; I will shoot you a PM as well but will be glad to answer your questions and would like to say that your concern is very valid given our progressive back-log over the past few months, it has been very challenging to say the least.

For your question, yes new orders are being accepted under the NamePros incentive and also referrals through NamePros and we will setup, communicate, and organize your project(s) however, will be unable to begin implementing these projects until Tuesday of next week. This is to allow full focus on adjusting and tending to any mod requests for the new projects being issued and this is certainly owed for their willingness and leniency while we stuck it out through our transition.

If you require web hosting for your project; this is simple and activated when your account is set up, so there is no current wait with hosting. The turn-around time will vary based on the type of project you assign; I will need to shoot you over a PM to address these details since I will need some quick info first.

Thanks!
Mike

Mike,

You have missed all of your self-imposed deadlines to provide me a draft. Thus, it has become very apparent to me that you cannot complete the work I have paid for in a reasonable amount of time. I request a full refund of the money I paid you by Monday, November 17. If I do not receive my full refund by this date, I will initiate a vendor complaint with Paypal and take other appropriate actions. I am very disappointed that we could not develop a successful business relationship. I hope that you will rethink your business approach and take steps to improve your customer service so that you can do worthwhile business here at NamePros.

Sincerely,
Pat

I know this probably isn't necessary and I doubt it will help the situation but would like to step in on the subject. Having worked a alongside Mike for fair amount of time as a freelancer for his business I can personally say that he runs an exceptional business. He is always spot on deadlines, whether it be finishing the website, delivering the product or paying the freelancer; he is also a very honest and trustworthy man.

My opinion of Mike is not biased, it is strictly professional, I do not know him personally although I wish I did. If for any reason a deadline was not reached on his behalf I can assure you that he did everything in his power to meet it and In such a business such circumstances are not always avoidable. I strongly resent you badmouthing Mikes business as you do not know the time and effort it takes to build such a respected and established business with the number of customers he currently maintains.

If you have problems with his service, PM him or contact via the Vessio website but posting on here is very low, very low in deed. All Mike's hard work and in return one customer who doesn't get his deadline met tries to tear it all down. It's really not going to help your situation.

As I said before, I have nothing but good things to say for both Mike and Vessio so don't let this put you of his amazing service!

The problem is that it is not just 1 client, it's many and unfortunately, I'm one of them.
I am STILL waiting for my site.

Mike said that ALL work is finished and ready and during the PAST week ALL work will be delivered (Said that on the 10th of November).
Well, I guess the week ends tomorrow so there's still 1 day left for Mike to deliver my work for topunlockers.com

As I said, please do not post here; it's highly inappropriate. If there is a problem with the service contact Mike via PM, Vessio support or email. If you still have a day remaining on the deadline then there is really no reason to post.

Again, as I said, Mike is honest, trustworthy and Is clearly tremendously busy with lots of customers right now; be understanding and be patient please. Imagine yourself in his position. Complaining on public forums just to give his hard work a bad name is extremely childish and ignorant.

James,

Thanks for your comments. However, I think those of us with issues regarding Mike's work have brought them into the public out of sheer frustration. Our PMs and e-mail either get no response, a confusing, rambling response or a response that later turns out to be inaccurate. With regards to the latter, I mean deadlines sent to us that come and go with no product to review. It seems there are at least three others, shreder, staffjam and dnpresident, besides myself that have paid for work and are dissatisfied with the broken promises and deadlines.

The thing is that it is the 4th deadline already...
And sorry, I do think it's appropriate to post this here.
You could as well say that it's inappropriate to post feedback for an eBay seller on his profile since it's publicly viewable and gives him a bad name.

If you were a disappointed customer like me and few others then you would have understood us, being a former worker for Mike I do not expect you to understand our situation.

A person like Mike should take his work more seriously. If he can't complete the work he's got, he shouldn't be taking more orders. If he can't complete the order he initially received then he should be giving out a refund and a compensation for all the trouble and lost time.

I do understand your point supporting him. I'm not saying that Mike is a bad person and never did. I trust you when you say that he is a honest and a good person. The complaints are against his business and the way he manages it, not against him personally.

I'm sure (at least I hope...) he's doing the best he can right now but he shouldn't have gotten to that point. He should have thought about his limitations in first place and avoided all this mess.

I myself and few others have requested refunds several times. It seems as if Mike is just ignoring those requests with replies like "Your work will be ready within the next few days" OR "We have stated that there are delays already in our CP". Those replies do not fix the situation NOR provide a reasonable explanation or solution.
I have decided to give Vessio and Mike a second chance to deliver my work. It's already been more than 2 weeks since I told Mike I'm willing to give this a second chance.
He initially said my project will be completed within 3-5 days.

If I do not receive my work by tomorrow which is the deadline Mike has set for ALL delayed work then I will demand a refund for the second time. I will not take anymore excuses.

There is no point in launching my site anymore. I was supposed to launch it almost 2 months ago when the niche was HOT. Right now the niche is almost dead and I'm not even sure my site will do near as good as it was supposed to.

I really hope I'll be getting my work by tomorrow.

You thank me for my comments yet you don't appear to have read them. I wont repeat myself but you seem to be being rather hypocritical. You expect Mike to a offer professional service (which is reasonable) but you can't respond in a professional manner.

Calm down, be patient and your problems will be resolved.

This is a forum and should be an open discussion in a profeesional manner. We have our rants at times and I'm not picking sides. Delays suck. Happens to us.

Let mike catch up.

I been very happy with mike and his communication with me

When all this chatter settles down I plan to bring him more work in the future.

I think this thread should be cleaned up.

Best of luck everyone. I am sure mike will follow through on projects. Time will tell imo on everyone.

Ok wish you well on your end project and forum.

Understand your frustrations. I been there done that.

Didn't mean to offend you if I did. I have read your posts since I came on and know your a loyal Namepros member. Cheers and thanks in all the insight you had given.
Hope no hard feelings. Glad to hear thread will be cleaned up after project is settled.

Mike is a class act. Mike I wish I had your growing pains in business. Would rather have growth concerns then a negative growth lol. Michigan sucks up here as things are getting ugly by the month.

Good luck.

Although I also received my project late from Mike, he did excellent work for me! :) much better than what you would think $100 would get you.

dang, i just read the last four pages of this thread. i feel bad for everyone in this situation.

mike did some work for me a couple months ago. he actually re-did the theme on DomainSubway.com.

i will say this, everything did take longer than it was supposed to but he stayed in contact with me and we got it done. i'm happy with the results. in fact he was referred to me by another np member.

after reading all this and being a non-involved third party it may be best for mike to give everyone a refund and move on. i'm not against mike or anything but can't believe he has not been banned or at least this thread closed. from this thread he has let down a lot of np members. maybe he shouldn't be allowed to sell here. not good!!!

I have read a couple requests for a Refund, so I am wondering if a refund was ever issued for those who have asked?

The Bad:

My project is personally a little over a month old, past deadlines (3 weeks) as others etc. I was excited on Nov 13th with my email that Mike had sent:

"Once the new xxxxxxxxxx.com DNS settings resolve; we can load and install on your new server for you to review and request any modifications or adjustments if necessary."

The servers were set in 5 minutes on the 13th but nothing happened until my contact today (17th) via the CP. Mike did reply but nothing that I really wanted to hear: "install and delivered in a very short timeframe".

Not sure how long a "short timeframe" is but I didn't hear back on my request for a date.

I still hold hope that Vessio will be a great choice for NP members but I do feel that Finish Dates have come and gone Several Times. This just can not happen, Period. Once, maybe... Twice, well... etc.

I have yet to hear a Refund Offer from Vessio to any member but I think this is the right thing to do since so many projects seem to be delayed.

Vessio/Mike can claim that things are getting done on their side, but how do we, the customer even know if anything is happening with our projects?

Talk is cheap, finished projects speak volumes.

I don't care if it takes another MONTH for my site to get done, just tell me that please. Not next week or next week or next week or once your dns resolve or shortly etc. and still nothing.

The Good:

Mike has been very active in this thread, which shows he cares and is working on things.

Mike has been active via the CP at Vessio.com

Update: I have finally received the first draft of my site. Although some tinkering is required, I think it was worth the money and Mike did a decent job.

Glad to hear this. I'm sure we will be seeing more and more of this happening this week. :D
