I've seen some very inconsistent sales of LN.com names.

I've been inquiring and might finalize a deal soon, but before that, I would like to know what you guys see as the current resale value of LN.com names.

Any opinions will be appreciated.

Huge difference tbh.....

A1 or Z8?

See what i mean? Mind you i would imagine you would have difficulty getting a terrible one for under high 1x,xxx?

anyone else?

A1 would prob be a 7 figure name

I understand that letter quality matters, but even z8.com has to have a minimum resale value. I personally put it as high xxxx to low xxxxx.

If you can buy any LN.com for $xxxx BUY IT !!!!

If you dont, let me know as i will buy them all day at that price.

Good luck with name you are buying, let us know which one , once you nail it :sold:

Agreed with arnie that anything $10k or less would be a steal. Hard to pinpoint a value on them because sales are so infrequent. NameBio or DNsaleprice would be a good place to start.

I'll post it here if the deal does go through.

Z8 could be worth quite a bit as well as it's a BMW car as well :)

Good luck Sashas! I would recommend this: When negotiating "try" as hard as you can to not seem overly eager. Things like responding to emails ultra quick or expressing too much enthusiasm can get the seller thinking sometimes. When the seller seems to be wavering or worse, asks for more money, my experience so far has shown that it is best to end negotiations immediately! Just tell him/her , "thanks for taking the time to work with me on this. I wish you the best of luck getting your asking price! I have another option I am going to pursue for my business. Thanks again!". Sounds risky doesn't it. Personally, I am 2 for 2 using this method. I let them know that I don't really care if I get their domain or not (even if I really do!).

In both instances, within two days, the sellers came back begging for my business. Psychology at it's best! Just don't make idle chit chat. Just end negotiations.

You've picked up some great names lately, so no doubt you know what your doing. This is just my experience.

As far as what LN.com's can sell for: You never know. I owned one that was appraised on these forums for 1x,xxx. So what did it sell for? 45k! You never know!

I know about that one which sold for 45k! Thats what got me thinking in the direction of a LN.com. It seems that the shorter a name is, the more people like it...and you can always tell them that its "only one of such 260 names. Be among the 'top 260 people on the internet'"!

Thanks a lot Giode. I'll keep you guys updated if it goes through. And if it doesn't, well, too bad for the seller! There are always other deals..
