I purchased this domain back in 2004 ("Registered on: 10-Jun-2004"), approximately 8.5 years ago. Used it for an email address at first and then later I didn't know what to do with it but kept hold of it anyway.

Any value in it or should I just let it expire?

The owner of the .com which is an established blog seams to be in London. So you could offer him your co.uk.

By the way, i just saw that culturegeek.com was sold for $688 on Sedo 2011.
So at least you know that he bought a domain name and knows about the added value (if we assume that he was the buyer). So before you let it drop, you could offer it to him for around $300 and see what happens imo.

I thought about that, as I believe the site previously had a forum on it as well as a blog. When checking into it today, I saw the .com was sold in 2011 for 688 USD. The registrant is located in Newcastle upon Tyne. A first I thought it might have been contact details for their webdesigner company, but when viewing their website it appears to be culture-related.
