Since I'm still up at 2:20 in the am... a breakroom thread seems in order ;)

I love cult classics, and I know I haven't seen them all.... so post your #1 All time favorite cult classic film.

My personal favorite is "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"

Come on... share :snaphappy:

Do you go to the midnight "interactive" screenings? I've had friends that were into that movie way back when, but I couldn't get into it.

Myself, I love the Evil Dead trilogy, with part II my personal fav. A cool sidenote, I got to meet and talk to Bruce Campbell last month at the premier of his new movie 'The Man with the Screaming Brain'. Weird movie.. but hey, it might end up being another cult classic. :)

I've heard Some Funky Stories come out of those :o lol - Most had to do with Food Products being tossed all over.

I spent many good times at the midnight showings of "HEAVY METAL" and "The WALL". :D

In addition to the previously mentioned classics by you guys.

RJ, where is the new Bruce Campbell film showing? Is it nationwide in major theaters? I'm glad to hear it even exists because I haven't heard anything about it. I loved the Evil Dead movies too, btw.

Screaming Brain is an archetypical B-movie so the release is very limited. Bruce is touring around the US introducing it himself and doing Q&A sessions at each showing. (link to BC's site w/dates) You can catch it on the Sci-Fi channel in September and on DVD not long after that. It's a strangely entertaining movie, I hope you get to see it. :)

Heavy Metal is a cool movie too. I saw it after its re-release about 7 years ago.

Excellent, I will definitely catch it on SciFi. I might buy the DVD too. I'm a movie addict. :)

Speaking of strangely entertaining, I just got "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Pretty good! :tu:

I like a lot of the cult classics. Even some of the animated ones were excellent. But I have to say Rocky Horror is head and shoulders above them all. The and all and be all of cult classics.

I've went to a couple midnight of madness showings when I was "much" younger... AWESOME! I went to college for theatre, so I was always an eager participant - dressed as Magenta - flinging food at people, those were the days.

"The Crow"
Brandon Lee Rocks (Or rocked...)

I also agree with RJ about the Evil Dead triology.
Great ones!

Indeed... the ED Trilogy does, in fact :kickass:

Also, A Clockwork Orange deserves an honorable mention! I love that one too!
