It was announced today that scientists discovered the most earth-like planet yet, a world 5.5 times bigger than Earth about 28,000 light years away. The name of the planet is OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb.

Just out of curiosity, I check to see if someone had registered OGLE-2005-BLG-390Lb.com

Not only was the .com taken , but the .net, .info, and .biz are already gone.

Crazy Domainers! :alien: :alien: :alien:

I think the next president's name will be Scott Jefferson, I better go register all the TLD's!

Wow, that's kind of crazy. You know if anything ever happens with this planet, like if they research it more, no one's going to call it by its full name.

Yes, google owns the rights to the use of "google", "goog", "ogle", "goo" and any unauthorized use of the letters "g" and "e" ;)

I reg'd ....

See this post/ "thread":

http://www.namepros.com/domain-appr...ners-out-there.html?highlight=planetatlas.com

It reads, from Jan. 11th.:

"PlanetAtlas.com

Other planets are now being discovered. New techniques and a new space telescope will no doubt discover more.

Based on some experience, or market knowledge, can anyone speculate on the value of PlanetAtlas.com to a university or a biz like National Geographic.

Thanks! ... May The Force Be With You!"
