Hey guys!

I just bought this domain for 25$ here on NP and while I think I can sell it for a small profit, what do you guys think? Obviously it isnt .com but i think it is still something worse since its a generic 2 word domain and this domain is also regged in .com, .info (i guess?), .org, etc

It is the first domain I have ever bought (read: not handregged) and would like to know if you think I can get my 25$ back or if it was a catch in to the toilet

I wanted to ask if it is a good domain AFTER I bought it for the simple reason that I did not want anyone to buy it before me and because I think that, if this domain isnt worth 25$, the lesson I learned is more valuable if I am hurt financially by this. If it makes sense to you.

It's a decent name and worth the $25
I would immediately develope it with a affiliate site perhaps a iTunes api.
You should also lock the matching social accounts if available.
As per worth domain alone I can't help you.

It was good buy for USD 25 in my opinion.

Estibot appraisal is USD 2000 for it, SEDO's suggested price is 449 eur, plus domain makes great sense for me and it can be definitely sold to various end users.

weeklytop100countrysongs.com sold for 317 USD at GoDaddy in 2012, and this is quite a worse name.

I would appraise your name for around USD 5000. If you want to sell it, list it to Sedo, Flippa and Afternic, and you can also make some active outbound offering to suitable end users (eshops with country music, radios, etc).

Are you sure it is worth 5k? I mean remember, it is a .net, not .com. And estibot says 2000. Normally estibot prices too high.

I am not sure. But interesting. I thought this domain isnt worth more than maybe 50$, but you think its worth 5000? Wow....

If you go the outbound route, likely you won't find anyone interested in this name too soon. I think you have more chances to sell it on Godaddy auctions for $100sh maybe, which won't be far from what you'd receive from outbound (low $xxx).

Very nice name IMO, well worth the price and well worth a patient approach to its' sale.

From an aspiring country songwriter to a hopeful rising country singer to a country band to a country music forum, etc , surely they will eventually be a end-user interested in the domain.

If mine, I would be looking for and willing to wait a while for a min 1500 - 2500. range offer to buy.

And most likely too would do my own lander / sales page.

The domain could certainly be developed. The problem is that any domain can be developed and monetized even if it has not built-in value.
I think you paid just about what a domainer would pay. If you put it on auction at NP tomorrow I doubt you would fetch much more.

Thank you guys for your appraisals!

While many of you appraised it for values over 1k, I will sell it for max. 500$.

And many also suggested I should develop it, which is obviously a good thing, but I am not into developing my domains. I think 500$ is a good price for an enduser. I have listed it here on NP, on Afternic and Sedo. I will look that I contact some endusers, too.

Thank you all for your help! I never thought this domain could be worth more than 50$ to be honest!
